Document Production Technician – Graveyard

Owen Reed are recruiting for a Document Production Technician for a top London law firm.  The hours of work will be 00h00 – 07h30

The Document Production Technician must be proficient in problem solving lengthy and complex documents in the key applications.

Responsibilities of the Document Production Technician will include:
Technical Skills
Produce and amend lengthy and complex business critical documents with speed and accuracy
Format, paginate, number and present documents
Proofread and check all work for spelling, grammar, formatting, presentation and sense
Proactively work with other members of the team to make sure relevant documentation is produced to meet internal and external clients’ expectations and deadlines

Administrative Skills
Maintain and update entries on the team’s work tracker and email
Be proactive in logging incoming work in conjunction with other team members
Take responsibility for ensuring that each piece of work is correctly saved and accessible by the fee earner, logged and returned to the sender with the appropriate communication
Attend and contribute proactively to meetings convened during operational hours
Carry out photocopying, scanning and other ad-hoc requests as required

Professional skills
Be proactive in clarifying instructions from fee earners/manager should they be unclear or if deadlines are not made explicit
Respond to internal and external telephone enquiries politely and professionally
Support other members of the team and to provide cover as and when necessary and to make sure that work is completed to a high standard and meets the required deadlines
Make sure that there is an effective and efficient handover of work between shifts and in particular good communication and links with other business support teams
Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested
