Join one of the world’s most prestigious law firms and oversee the Document Production service which consists of large teams working the weekend shift pattern (Sat/Sun/Mon 11am -11pm). The Document Centre work on and oversee high quality documents and provide a 24 hour service to the firm globally and are responsible for producing a wide variety of legal documents as required by the lawyers, often working on headline deals and cases. The role will involve managing the departmental workflow to high level of service and taking ownership for weekend activity as well as establishing strong relationships with customers based on credibility and trust.
You will be expected to carry out regular quality checks on work produced during that shift both in-house and outsourced, hold regular team meetings to ensure correct communication lines are followed, motivate, encourage and appraise team members and play a key role in the recruitment of staff to the team. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are paramount and accurate and fast typing speeds are essential. Experience in the field of document manipulation will be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate is likely to be a flexible team player, committed to providing a quality service, with a desire to lead others and demonstrate strong problem solving capabilities.
