Legal PA to Senior Partner (Contentious Private)

Owen Reed are recruiting for a Legal PA to join a top London Law firm in Holborn. 

The Legal PA will be working in the Contentious Private team for a senior equity partner mostly on one to one basis but some assistant to others.

Responsibilities/Duties
Provide comprehensive support to a Partner, Head of Group and several fee earners 
Extensive diary and email management
Provide all aspects of general administrative support including travel planning, expenses, maintenance of calendars, and contact lists, management of client files and folders, filing, photocopying, arranging couriers and updating contacts on Interaction.
Undertake extensive typing from dictation, ranging from documents to client emails.
Proactive and advance monitoring of fee earner diaries, reminding fee earners of diary commitments
Attend client meetings and take comprehensive minutes and notes 
Manage and prepare for meetings, ensuring all travel arrangements and relevant documents are managed effectively and room bookings and other venues are set up appropriately.
Manage comprehensive travel arrangements
Manage each Partners phone calls and on-going requests from clients and colleagues 
Plan, coordinate, schedule internal/external meetings and conference calls
Dealing with telephone enquiries, managing client enquiries/requests for meetings and taking accurate messages
Overseeing and prioritising incoming email, post and voicemails
Dealing with all internal and external clients in a timely, professional and courteous manner
Prepare and type, proofread and amend documents
Preparing presentation slides and materials for internal/external meetings and seminars 
Create files and manage the filing system for fee earners (paper and electronic)
Maintain extensive and complicated billing records
Opening and closing of files including completing conflict checks
Checking accounts system for monies on account and whether bills have been paid.
