Legal Secretarial Manager

Owen Reed are recruiting a Legal Secretarial Manager for a top London Law firm based in St Pauls.
 
The Legal Secretarial Manager will have overall responsibility for secretarial staff and delivery of service to Lawyers. The Legal Secretarial Manager will be responsible for ensuring the secretarial population works effectively.  The Legal Secretarial Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing best practice consistently across the secretarial population ensuring dissemination of responsibility to team leaders and coordinators to facilitate continuous improvement.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEGAL SECRETARIAL MANAGER
Develop and implement best practice processes consistently across the secretarial service function
Carry overall responsibility to ensure all is working effectively and in line with model standards
Identify issues affecting the efficient operation of the secretarial function and liaise with Team Leaders/Co-ordinators, Partners, Secretaries and other Business Support functions to promptly resolve problems/inefficiencies and facilitate continuous improvement
Leading the Team Leaders to ensure the it is strongly service oriented, credible and proactive in meeting Partner and staff requirements
Identify process issues and interfaces with Head of Secretarial Services, Finance, IT and other support areas to seek solutions
