Team Assistant – Litigation

Owen Reed are recruiting for a Team Assistant to join a top London law firm.  The Team Assistant will work within the Litigation team.

The Team Assistant must deliver a professional administrative support service to the Commercial Litigation, Product Liability and Insurance PA team.

Key Responsibilities of the Team Assistant
Extensive billing and finance administration of major clients, including typing bills, expense claims and other financial-related administrative tasks
Build a network of strong working relationships internally
High quality and accurate document production skills adhering to the firm’s house style
Use the firm’s resources efficiently eg print room, global document production
Build an understanding of the nature of the groups’ work, get to know the fee earners and build relationships with their PAs
Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly act on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions
Organise and prioritise workload and keep a level-headed approach in a busy working environment
Printing, scanning, copying and filing documents and emails
Take accurate and detailed telephone messages
Accurate and regular maintenance of filing systems, e-filing, and archiving and retrieval of files from store
Provide cover for others in the team as requested.
Ad hoc duties as and when required.
